Keeping still

Grant is no longer a quiet little baby that stays where I put him.

This little guy has such a love for exploring!! He tries so hard to sit up on his own and loves when I help him get into the sitting position. He'll be crawling any day now and Nick and I are waiting to see him take off...

This little guy has FULLY mastered the art of rolling though. He can get from one side of the room to the other in no time. While managing to rotate in any direction as well... He's all go... I may be in for quite the little trouble maker! 

 Meanwhile Kendall has been THE BEST big sister ever! She is so good at playing with Grant and keeping him occupied when I have chores to get done. She brings him toys and chats with him and even has the ability to get this guy laughing!

I'm so grateful that my munchkins have each other! :)

Rainy Days...

On rainy days we tend to stay in our PJ's a little later than usual. We play quietly with our toys while the baby sleeps and things are pretty calm.

 Sometimes you could say a bit boring...

 But they don't tend to stay that way too long.

 We're usually up and going before ya know it!

 Giggling and laughing about the silly noises the fireplace makes when it's super windy.

 Rainy days are the best around here! :)

Shadows and Running

 This little munchkin has been as antsy as me to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. So much so, that we've gone out even though it was incredibly windy and chilly too...

The weather doesn't have to be perfect too find our shadow afterall...

 Or run on the crunchy grass...

 Or scratch our noses...

Ha ha...
The only reason I'm posting this photo is because her and Grant have fully been given the gift of their fathers allergies. They've had runny noses for weeks now and I feel horrible for them. Sorry guys! That's one gene I did NOT pass on. :)

FruStrAtiOn....

A few days ago I realized that ALL the pictures on my blog were GONE....

Yes...

Gone...

There aren't words enough to describe how incredibly frustrated I am...

The WORST part of the entire thing is that I print out my blog every year and have it as my scrapbook for my family. Guess what I've been putting off doing....

So now I have NOTHING for 2011....

Nothing...

I have figured out a new way to add my photo's to my blog....
Since I DONT trust blogger anymore...

I don't know what I'm going to do for all of last year.

I've had to delete everything and I'm going to have to go back to January of this year and replace the photo's that are now just black squares with an exclamation point in them...

Kill me...

And thank you BLOGGER for not only losing my scrapbook... but for having absolutely NO way of contacting ANYONE....

randoms....

I've been slacking on my posting lately... I've been pretty busy working on my little business and trying to get a few things going on that... Life has been hectic.

The other day I ran outside with Kendall for a few minutes because the weather was just screaming for me!! I was loving it!!

The best part about this picture is that I didn't enhance the color of the sky at all!! It was perfect!! 

Kendall was being super silly for me. She kept running up to me with her hands in the air. It's so much fun just watching her come up with some of the things that she does.....

Her new favorite thing to do is constantly have a pair of my shoes on. She loves to clomp around the house in them...

She's quite the little character.... :)

crazy snow

The Spring weather in Utah always keeps us guessing. It can go from 70 degrees to 38 and snowing in a day! Today was no exception. It started snowing this afternoon, not enough to really stick but enough to get Kendall in her coat for a couple pictures!

 She was having so much fun running through the flurries of snow...

 Then it started to pick up a bit. 

 And then it REALLY started falling. It was so funny because she kinda panicked after I took this last picture and I had to grab her and run inside. :)

What a fun and spontaneous snow storm!

6 Months!

I can't believe that Grant is already 6 months old! This little guy is so much fun too! He is a pro at rolling every way possible and is trying as hard as he can to sit up on his own! We joke about how he has to have the strongest abs since he's constantly crunching up!

It blows me away how quick time is passing us by! It seems like yesterday we welcomed him into our lives...

And when it comes to smiling... This little guy knows what he's doin! He always has the biggest grin on his face!!

Oh and he just LOVES his big sister! He has to always be in her line of sight or he gets upset. He could watch her play all day long I swear...

After I took a few pictures of the little man I laid down to cuddle and Daddy grabbed my camera to snap a few little moments.

 I cant imagine life without this little miracle of ours! :)

Roxie's View

I read someones blog post on the view point of animals the other day and thought it would be fun to do one for Roxie. She doesn't particularly like her picture taken but she does love to observe us. I went around the house to some of her favorite spots to see the world as she does. :)

Of course we had to have a picture of her food. She's not the biggest eater of her own food, she'd much rather have ours.

 She loves to sit in this little arm chair in our family room and watch everyone go about our days.

She often lays in the doorway of my closet and watches me get ready in the mornings.

 She also watches Kendall play in mine and Nick's clothes...

 But inside her kennel has to be her favorite spot in the house. I know she feels safe in here and isn't bothered too much. (Until Kendall notices she's missing and forces her out) She spends a good 90% of the day in here for sure...

 She's always at my feet whenever I'm eating. This little dog knows that I have a sweet spot for her sad begging eyes...

 She likes to lay on the ground while Grant is on his play mat.

 Every once in a while she'll perch herself at the top of the stairs to take a nap.

And anytime I'm working on the computer she'll sit in the couch in the kids play room and watch me as she falls asleep...

 I had so much fun looking at the world through her two little black eyes for an afternoon. :)

Cutie Pie

I just LOVE to style Kendall's hair! She is pretty good for me (80% of the time) and sits still while I mess around till I decide on a style. I've been wanting to try this falling french braid for quite some time on her and I think it turned out pretty cute. :) It's not the best holding hairstyle for a two and a half year old but it lasted long enough for me to get a picture!

 I snapped the top picture and then had to take a few more since she was being so stinkin cute. :)

 This is her sad/pouty face. ha ha...

I wish I had the energy that this girl has... :)

Mommy Time

Last night we got home from a family dinner and Grant was so tired. He was being such a little cuddle bug with me and my sweet Nick ran to grab my camera for a few pictures with my little man.

 Nothing sweeter than a little ones head on your shoulder.

 Love this little guy...

Spring????

Spring is only a few days away and we're getting into the full swing of it already! Nick and Kendall spent most of the entire day last Saturday weeding the yard. They had such a great time and the weather was just perfect!

This girl is in love with the outdoors. Don't get me wrong, I love being outside too but she's not afraid of spiders, dirt or anything else for that matter when she's out and about. This girl was hands and knees deep with her little rake. :)

  She was showing me how to use the little shovel...

I'm excited to have a little gardener!! :)

Chips & Salsa

Kendall loves her chips and salsa. She has so much fun eating them with me. She doesn't like any of the chunks though so she just dips the chips in the juices. :) She thinks it's pretty silly.

The main reason I got the camera out this particular time was because I just love how she sits in chairs. I know her ankles will be getting too big soon and I wanted to remember this...

 She got a little silly on me once I started taking the pictures...

 Then she got camera shy.
