Yes I know it seems like I've done far too many zoo posts but kendall loves the zoo..
This time I didn't take as many pictures of the animals. I focused mostly on the munchkins. Since Grant is so little, he spent most of the day in the stroller. Which he really doesn't seem to mind. (as long as we're constantly moving...)
As soon as we got there Kendall wanted to ride the train...
She thought this huge sphere rolling in water was cool too...
This is the first time that we went to the zoo and Kendall was out of the stroller pretty much the whole time. Which means that she did lots of piggy-back rides with daddy. :)
This tiger was just huge laying next to the window!
And my little fashionista with her fun sunglasses. :)
What a fun afternoon! :)

City Creek
Last week Nick and I took the kids downtown to City Creek. Kendall just LOVES the splash pad and huge fountain. She had gone with Nick a few days before and hadn't stopped talking about it so we figured it would be a fun time! :)
Grant spent the afternoon chillin in the stroller.
While Kendall went to town on the big fountain.
We watched the fountain show together.
we visited the Disney store and couldn't resist letting her have this cute Jessie doll. She just LOVES Toy Story so this was a must! :)
She had some fun running around the splash pad
and even got some water to the face...
then it was back to the big fountain.
Daddy started getting tired of bending over for so long... :)
She got a little excited at one point and tripped. We needed some mama time after that one..
She was back on her feet in a flash though ready to do some more exploring.
The view from one of the walkways. Beautiful.
Daddy is a great mode of transportation...
although from this angle it doesn't look too comfy... ha ha...
She found one more fountain before we headed home.
What a fun day at City Creek!

Mothers Day
It's funny how you don't fully appreciate someone until you've walked in their shoes.
I've always loved my Mother and appreciated all that she's done for me but until the day that I became a Mother myself, I had no idea what all she really had done.
As a Mother there are hundreds of things that go un noticed. Countless pieces of clothing picked up off the floors, dinners made for your family, hugs given, kisses exchanged, tears wiped away and laughter shared...
Thousands of little moments that we, as Mothers cherish.
I am so grateful to my own Mother. So grateful to her for the millions of times she's thought of me or worried about me... She is such a sweet soul and I am so incredibly glad that I am her daughter...
I'm so grateful for ALL the women in my life. Mothers, Family and Friends. You all mean the world to me. :)
As for being a Mother myself. There is no greater calling in my life than to be a Mom to my two angels. They are my entire world and they bring so much happiness to my life.
This year for Mother's Day I had only one big request. That was a picture with my two little ones. Nick was so sweet to help me out and I have to say that I am in LOVE with these pictures. :)
I had Nick sit with the munchkins so I could get the camera settings all figured out and I really liked the pictures I got of them too. Nick, was so helpful to me today. He went out of his way to help with the kids and give me as much of a break as possible and for that I am very thankful! Love my partner in life! :)
I'm one lucky Mama!

updates
Life has been so hectic lately. I feel like I just can't keep up. SO I finally had a couple seconds today to upload a few pics.
A few weeks ago we had this crazy storm roll in... Nick and I were watching the lightning blaze through the windows and by the time I thought to grab my camera I was only able to catch one quick pic. It was pretty fun though!
I got to visit with my cousin Bridget last week and we got to talking for way too long about camera's and lenses... She's a photographer too and she even let me play with her GORGEOUS wide angle lens... Which has been added to my HUGE wish list! :)This picture below was one I took for fun!
My poor boy has been tortured more and more by his big sister. Today she thought it would be fun to put her pink bunny ears on him... Poor guy
He's a pretty good sport though...
Lately I have been finding Kendall's crayons EVERYWHERE.....
She has lost interest in her coloring books as of late which forces me to now hide any notebooks of value...
Grant still isn't crawling... boy is he close though...
However he is an expert at rolling to get where he wants to go. It's nice that he can entertain himself a little while I attempt to get laundry done...
I have to admit that I'm not always the funnest mom... I am constantly worried about Kendall falling off of something or not paying attention in some way leading to an ER visit. So Inever rarely let her jump on my bed.
But today I was feeling fun. I had a moment of letting go and told her to go for it. :)
She was pretty uncertain... I had to talk her into it at times... (I've taught her well i guess)
But once she got going...
I couldn't get her to stop. :)
Fun times! :)
